Introduction:
• In today’s era, where the preservation of historical treasures holds significant importance, concerted efforts are underway to illuminate the historical significance of the Hastsal Minar.
Historical Background:
• Situated in a quaint village in western Delhi, the Hastsal Minar stands as a testament to the architectural prowess of the Mughal era. Its construction culminated in 1634 during the illustrious reign of Emperor Shah Jahan, earning it the monikers of “Mini Qutab Minar,” “Hastsal Ki Laat,” and “Kaushal Minar” among the local populace.
Architectural Splendor:
• Crafted from lakhori bricks and adorned with red sandstone, this minaret rises majestically to a height of 17 meters, encompassing five distinct storeys. Its square platform seamlessly transitions into an octagonal body, showcasing meticulous design and engineering. Ascending through a narrow staircase, visitors would reach the domed Chhatri pavilion crowning the summit. Notably, the interior features three storeys, each with a diminishing diameter, adding to its architectural intrigue.

• The Hastsal Minar stands as an emblem of Delhi’s rich heritage, beckoning visitors to immerse themselves in its architectural grandeur and historical narratives. Through diligent conservation efforts, its legacy is poised to endure for generations to come, serving as a poignant reminder of India’s storied past.
